One of the fun things at our office is that every week or two you get handed a book and are asked to read it and write down what you think of it. My current book is entitled: Always Remember: If It Ain’t Fun, It Ain’t Worth Doing! Now that was a book title that got my attention.
I’ve always believed that work can’t just be about work. Local businessman Wayne Kehl has written a wonderful book. His style is laidback and very comfortable. It doesn’t hurt that it starts in familiar surroundings.
The wisdom in the book isn’t earth-shaking revelation but it is an easy journey visiting old friends of practical knowledge that are too often forgotten amongst the stress and challenges of modern business. Aside from that, it’s a good read. I enjoyed the time I spent with this book like I enjoy the time I spend with one of my wise old mentors. It’s time well spent. It was fun! And, it was useful. Try it - you’ll have fun reading and learning.
